Finished reading the second book in the 'Nick Caine' book series by J.R. Rain and Aiden James. The book is called 'Treasure of the Deep.' This book was considerably better compared to the first book since the progression of the story seemed more believable.
In this book, the same characters are together again, but this time they're searching for pirates gold located on an island in the Maldives. Upon waking up on the island one morning, Nick and Ishi find they're other companion, Marie, has left them currently stranded on the island with some supplies and a treasure map. They decide to look for the treasure, having their hesitations, and unexpected events occur that lead them fighting, and running, for their lives. This book is a great addition to the story, and I can't wait to get to the next book in the series!
